Ray Clarke

 

Ray is a past student of mine whilst I was teaching at London Metropolitan University.  Ray still stays in touch and has gone from strength to strength.  Ray has produced work on serveral series of the BBC's "Money For Nothing" television programme.

Fiona Baker, Harrison Moss Interiors

 

Fiona studied soft furnishings with us in 2012/13 and now runs her own very successful interiors business.  In 2017 Fiona, with the help of another past student, Jayne Bell, made all the furnishings for the BBC's DIY SOS Welwyn Garden City (series 29) programme.

E. J. Osborne, Hatchet and Bear

 

E. J. studied the AMUSF Stage 2 upholstery course with us in 2011/12 before moving to Frome in Somerset.  E. J. has gone on to forge a very successful woodworking career using storm damaged trees.  Is a published author and TV presenter on the BBC's "Money For Nothing".

Harriet Page & Charlotte Harrison

 

Charlotte and Harriet both studied the AMUSF Stage 3 upholstery course with us in 2015 and 2016.  Both are now part of the Bristol Upholstery Collective and they have also appeared on the BBC's "Money For Nothing" programme.

Susie Wigg Bespoke Curtain Maker

 

Susie studied her AMUSF soft furnishings course with us in 2010.  Since then Susie has gone on to make a very successful soft furnishings business from large premises in Godalming, Surrey.

Louise Boyland & Nikki Thomas

 

Louise trained with me between 2008 and 2010.  She also starting teaching for me before opening her own training centre in 2012.

Nikki trained with me in 2010 and now also teaches for Louise.

Maria Willis

 

Maria did her Stage 3 upholstery with us in 2011.  Maria has also gone on to open her own training centre, Maria's Traditional Upholstery www.mariasupholstery.co.uk

Sue Blow, The Playful Chair Company

 

Sue achieved her Stage 3 upholstery qualifications in 2013.  However, Sue has been coming to my classes since I first started teaching 1999.  Sue now produces a range of bespoke children's chairs, all individually hand-painted and embroidered.  Each with a different theme.
