These courses are ideal for upholsterers and soft furnishers. Using a mix of yarns and colour you will learn how to spin your own cords for creating piping cords, bullion fringe and tassels. The things you make can be used on chairs and sofas, cushions, tie-backs, the edges and pleats of curtains, pelmets, blind and light pulls. Ideal when colour matching is crucial to your work.
2-Day Multiple Mould Tassels Course - £178 plus materials which will be weighed at the end of the course.

Please bring scissors, assorted knitting needles, Evostick/Bostick/Uhu glue, tape measure, note book, pen, camera and a hand drill and wire snips if you have them.

Learn how to strip out old cane work, how to prepare the frame for caning, six-way cane pattern, finishing, beading and pegging. The course will also cover a brief history of caning and adaptations for various seat shapes.
2-Day Course - £178 plus materials which will be charged for on a basis of what is used (approx. £20 per chair).
Please bring a suitable chair for caning, hammer, scissors, pliers and any golf tees you may have.

All courses are 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and include a light lunch. Please advise any special dietary requirements or special needs.
Please bring a sewing kit or tool box (if you have one), a camera to record your work, a notebook and pen.
Places are limited and bookings are subject to availability. A £20 per day, non-refundable deposit payment is required to secure your place, with the balance payable one month prior to the start of the course.

The fees are non-refundable. If cancelled 1-4 weeks before the course start date, 50% of the fee will be refundable. If cancelled with 5 working days of the start date, the fee in non-refundable but we will offer a 50% discount if the course is re-booked within one year.
